Kyla is dedicated to helping people experience themselves in new ways, from head to soul. Whether she is behind the chair or in front of you, Kyla is committed to creating a space for people to heal and feel empowered. As a hairstylist with over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, she learned the importance of providing space for clients to feel comfortable, free to be themselves, and empowered.
Kyla is a graduate from Indiana Wesleyan University where she earned her masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is the recipient of the 2022 National Board for Certified Counselors Mental Health Counseling Master's Fellowship and is a member of various academic and community organizations. Kyla is passionate about working with young people who are transitioning into adulthood and single parents who are striving to create the best possible life for their children. She hopes that through her contributions to the mental health field, she will help to change the dialogue about mental health and wellness in underrepresented and underserved communities.
With a wealth of knowledge, yet forever a student, Kyla strives to continue to learn more to ensure she is providing the best care and resources for her clients. Her passion for helping people to be their best selves can be seen and felt the moment you sit in her chair; you are definitely guaranteed an experience like no other.
